With just one extrusion line and a dedicated team member, we embarked on our journey, initially catering exclusively to the furniture and upholstery markets. Our focus was on creating high-quality Foam Welt Cord, a product that quickly became a symbol of our commitment to excellence.

As we grew in the furniture and upholstery markets with our Foam Welt Cord and other products, we recognized an opportunity to expand into new markets. By adjusting our raw material mix and manufacturing processes, we created the DAPA Foam Spline, a revolutionary product for the window and screening industry. Our Foam Screen Spline, easier to use and superior to many existing offerings, has changed the industry and become a favorite among major manufacturers.
Continued Growth and Expansion
Thanks to the support of our loyal customers in the upholstery market and our new partners in the window and door industry, DAPA Products has continued to flourish. Responding to market demand, we opened a separate braiding manufacturing operation to produce Braided Welt Cord. We’ve also expanded our production capabilities with several additional extrusion lines, allowing us to introduce new products including custom profile extrusions. Today, DAPA Products is recognized for a wide range of high-demand products, including Foam Welt Cord, Foam Screen Spline, Braided Welt Cord, and more.
